Exploring the 2021 Ford F-150 Trim Levels

The F-150 offers six different trim levels to choose from: the XL, XLT, and LARIAT provide seating for up to six riders, and the King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited provide seating for a maximum of five passengers.

• Ford F-150 XL

The XL comes equipped with the standard 3.3L Ti-VCT V6 engine, which puts out 290 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque capability. When it comes to safety, you’ll get standard Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, Automatic High Beams, and a Rear View Camera with Dynamic Hitch Assist. The exterior features 17-inch silver steel wheels.

• Ford F-150 XLT

In the XLT trim level, the driver-assistance safety features get a bit of an upgrade. You’ll get the standard BLIS® with Cross-Traffic Alert, a standard Lane-Keeping System, and a standard Reverse Sensing System. These features work together to help you mitigate or avoid collisions, stay securely in your lane, and merge lanes with confidence.

• Ford F-150 LARIAT

The LARIAT comes standard with the 2.7L EcoBoost® V6 engine, which puts out 325 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque capability. 18-inch machined aluminum wheels with Magnetic-painted pockets adorn the exterior.

• Ford F-150 King Ranch

This trim level comes equipped with the 5.0L Ti-VCT V8 engine, which delivers 400 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque capability, which will get you a maximum payload of up to 3,325 pounds when properly equipped. The 18-inch machined aluminum wheels with Magnetic-painted pockets and King Ranch wheel ornaments perform as well as they look.

• Ford F-150 Platinum

The Platinum trim level features Automatic on/off Headlamps with Rainlamp Wiper Activated Headlamps, which provide you with improved visibility when traveling at night or during a storm. With the standard dual-zone electronic automatic temperature control system, you and your front passenger can customize the temperatures in your respective areas.

• Ford F-150 Limited

In the final trim level, the Limited, you’ll get the standard 3.5L EcoBoost® V6 engine, which puts out 400 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque capability. With all that power, you’ll have the ability to tow up to 14,000 pounds when properly equipped. This means you can easily haul your boat down to the water or hook up a trailer for your next move.
